    Château Lanessan

Between vast forests and vineyards stands the Château de Lanessan, acquired in 1793 by the Bouteiller family and modernized a few years later by the famous architect Henri Duphot. On the border of Saint Julien but still in Haut-Médoc, the Château has seen eight generations of the same family in its cellar. In 2009 Paz Espejo arrives at the Château and, on its own, gives new life to the wines.

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

This vintage takes us on a fruitful journey, combining merlot, cabernet sauvignon and a touch of cabernet franc produced on the magnificent terroir of Château Lanessan. Everything has been done throughout the winemaking and aging process to keep the freshness of the wine. The merlot takes centre stage while the king of the Medoc, Cabernet Sauvignon, plays the role of structure. A pleasure wine to enjoy today.
