    Château Pontet Fumet

The vineyards are located in the heart of the right-bank of Bordeaux, just south of St.Emilion in Grand Cru territory. Led by the experienced and highly regarded Philip Bardet, who insists on a rigorous selection process at every harvest, it comes as no surprise to see these wines so elegant and refined, even at full maturity!

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

Are we really talking about a wine entering it's 11th year? Absolutely! 2007 wasn't a perfect vintage for every producer, but that means a lot of pleasant surprises if you know where to look. This is very much the case for Château Pontet-Fumet, a St. Emilion Grand Cru of real distinction and class. Now almost fully mature and incredibly complex, I'm delighted to be able to able to share a wine that's reaching its peak. Jump at the chance; they don't come around often!
