    Stina Vino

The vines of Stina grow on the island of Brac, a paradise on Earth if there ever was one! The rocks are white and contrast sharply with the crystalline blue of the sea and the green of the vineyards; no wonder so many artists have settled here! The vignerons of Stina cultivate their vines on these stony, white soils plunging towards the sea, and by doing so capture the freshness of the sea breezes. Every row is harvested strictly by hand and great attention is paid to the delicate handling of the Posip and Chardonnay grapes, using a combination of both traditional and modern wine-making.

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

I'm happy to see that the wines of Eastern Europe continue to over-deliver, although with vineyards as old as those in France perhaps it shouldn't come as such a surprise! Superb terroirs and delicious native grape varieties have been assisted over the years by Italian and French wine-makers, allowing unique wines to be made at the very highest quality levels. Croatia, and more specifically Dalmatia, has presented us with this delicious cuvee from the island of Brac, where the vines are almost dipping their roots into the sea! A dream of a vineyard but only possible through sheer hard work and a truly wonderful discovery!
