    Natana

At the foot of Mount Simonsberg, near the town of Stellenbosch, the Marianne Wine Estate is a hotel complex and a winery. Christain Dauriac of Château  Destieux, Grand Cru classé of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol La Clemence, is the owner. Michel Rolland is the technical advisor and investor.

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

We asked Christian Dauriac, owner of Marianne Wine Estate, with the help of Michel Rolland, the world-renowned oenologist, to create a red wine from the best vineyard plots of the best wineries in South Africa from the 2013 vintage. With the help of local wine experts, two bottles arrived on our table. Both were excellent, but I chose the second for its finesse, freshness, fruitiness and sweetness, mainly composed of Syrah, Merlot and a hint of both Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon. Here is Natana; perfect for barbecues!
