    Château d'Angludet

Château d'Angludet was reborn from a prestigious past; Peter Sichel has been working hard with the vines since 1961 and we can see it's working! The Château is rightly recognized and sought after by a growing number of connoisseurs worldwide. Today, the six children of Peter and Diana represent the 6th generation of Sichel involved in viticulture and the wine trade. They work together to develop the family business and Angludet is above all a family story, and what a family it is!

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

Superb value for money from a prestigious appellation! Not the most famous name of Margaux, but it surprises me at every tasting of Union des Grands Crus, of which it is a part. The Reserve Angludet is the new name given to the wine, coming from the young vines of the property; a good sign that there is a qualitative renewal of the vineyards. We find the quality and class of this wine is certainly the best value we've ever found from this prestigious appellation. The wine has a burgeoning complexity; finesse and fruit with a touch of the femininity that Margaux is rightly revered for.
