An expert's opinion

It was in the Palais des Papes in Avignon that I first discovered Domaine Roger Perrin and this magnificent Châteauneuf-du-Pape blanc. A rare and prestigious wine that I am very proud to present! The different grape varieties are vinified separately; a part of the Roussanne is vinified in barrel, the others in stainless steel tanks, which leaves a superb purity of fruit. We're very lucky to get a few bottles of this here at Le Petit Ballon and even more delighted to share it with you all!

The estate

Domaine Roger Perrin

A family domain that has been managed by the women of the family since the 1880's! However, Véronique Perrin-Rolin broke the chain before returning at age 30, to resume her studies as an oenologist. The estate is now back in her hands and that of her son Xavier, the next generation in line!
