    Clos de l'Ours

Welcome to Clos de Ours, or the Land of Bears! Le Clos is a nice story about a couple (and their son, pictured above, on the right) who embarked on their wine adventure in 2012. The domain name is a nod to the bear-like personality of their wine! Their philosophy: let nature take its course. Their 13 hectares of vines are grown organically. Work, family and passion is what brings them together and distinguishes this beautiful area nestled in the heart of Provence in the small village of Cotignac.

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

A lovely pink wine! 'Petit Ours' already blew us away but now with 'Grizzly' we're moving in to another dimension. The same sense of fun is there but with a greater depth and a different style of wine; this is a more complex wine, rounder and more 'for the table.' The wine is elegant and perhaps a little more philosphical; a philosophy of the work done in the search for perfection. A sweet and voluptous wine but with a certain sense of the name, 'Grizzly', that embodies the character and charm. In short; the quietly strong rosé wine!
