An expert's opinion

A rosé that proves that the Caves Coopératives can offer superb wines. I wanted to showcase this cuvée with the evocative name of scrubland flowers, because it surprised us by its delicate frame, floral and fruity, yet quenching and very pleasant. Made from cinsault and black grenache on a terroir of arid scrubland, made of white limestone pebbles and flint red earth, I hope you discover "Les Cistes" with the same pleasure as me.

The estate

Les Vignerons du Sommiérois

The winery of the Vignerons du Sommiérois is located in the medieval town of Sommières. It has existed for more than 2000 years and there is an atypical charm thanks to its streets built under the Emperor Tiberius. Sommières is in the Mediterranean climate, so it is under the sun and with the smile that we cultivate the vine. In addition, we are dealing with real wine champions, since they have been rewarded more than 30 times in 2017!
