    Borgo Luna

Here we meet in the town of Vittorio, 25km from Treviso in the Veneto area, and the heartland of La Vigna di Sarah! The vineyard is well named as the owner, Sarah Dei Tos, cultivates indigenous grape varieties for her famous Prosecco. These lands are rich in beautiful products typical of the area, and wines from this region, well, you would recognise them with your eyes closed!

  • Jean-Michel Deluc says

Bubbles for the whole summer! Is it fashion or a trend that's brought this wine to my attention? Neither, actually! It was at a tasting show in Paris where I was attracted to this young wine with a futuristic look but also to the young, vibrant wine-maker who's enthusiasm reassured me about the quality of the wine. Prosseco is often synonymous with mediocre, second-rate sparkling wines. This wine however, is a wonderful expression of the Glera grape variety, made on a soil that contributes freshness and verve. A real treat by itself or as a base for summer cocktails. Personally, I like to have at least one glass and if possible, in good company. Long live Prosecco!

    • Eye : The colour is a pale gold with shades of green and silver reflections. The bubbles are fine and creamy.
    • Nose : On the nose freshness and youth are key and there is a bouquet of fresh fruits, menthol and light herbs.
    • Mouth : On the palate, there is a sense of sweetness but the finesse of the fine bubbles, fruit and white flavours take over with a dry, elegant finish.
