An expert's opinion

A Cote-de-Gascogne that will take you off the beaten track. A silky and honeyed wine, but also light and fresh, dominated by flavours of citrus and white fruits. This cuvée will find its place on the dinner table without any problems, whether it be for the aperitif, main course or dessert. An absolute pleasure to drink and delicious as part of a cocktail as well!

Jean-Michel Deluc. Head Sommelier of Petit Ballon.
The estate

8 Place du marché

8 Place du Marché' is the result of the work of 8 friends, all who work in the wine industry. They decided to make a wine in their own image; a wine that's fun, fruity and easy to drink. At the end of the dinner when they came to their decision, Jérôme Tessendier, cellar master of the Tessendier house in Cognac, asked them: "Where would you drink this wine? The unanimous answer? With our friends! And so the name was found at the same time.
