An expert's opinion

Given the success of the red wine from this estate, we wanted to show you how well they're doing with white wines as well! The estate is situated in between the cooling influence of two oceans, making it an ideal location for the cultivation of white varieties, especially grapes like Chenin Blanc, which makes up 80% of this wine. So rich, fresh and round; I'm terribly proud of this wine! My thanks to the Marianne Wine Estate for another excellent cuvee and happy tasting to you all!

Jean-Michel Deluc. Head Sommelier of Petit Ballon.
The estate

Marianne Wine Farm

A South African terroir, a cross between the natural beauty of the estate and French know-how; quite the combination! The estate covers 36 hectares of land, with a full 18 of those planted with vineyards. Christian Dauriac of Bordeaux is the consultant winemaker here and imports the best French oak to help age his wines. His friendship with the peerless Michel Rolland guarantees a rich, succullent style of wine and it's our pleasure to invite you to try another of their excellent portfolio!
