An expert's opinion

I was blown by the quality of this Sauternes at a Wine Fair in Brussels recently, incredible when you consider that it's also the first organic Chateau in Sauternes! An absolute beauty of a wine that is fantastic value for money. Try pairing it with something salty for a truly special experience!

The estate

Château Grillon

Château Grillon is ideally located near the river Ciron, which brings the all important morning mists necessary to rot the grapes and help create Sauternes. The first of its kind in being organic; absolutely remarkable in Sauternes where the mists and humidity already makes viticulture an uphill struggle!
