An expert's opinion

2017 was another dangerously good vintage in Beaujolais, with even greater concentration and flavour than the remarkable 2016! Yet, there's some brilliant minerality in the wines, betraying their terroir. Serve this beauty slightly cool, after around 30 minutes in your fridge, for maximum enjoyment!

Jean-Michel Deluc. Head Sommelier of Petit Ballon.
The estate

Maison Coquard

Christophe Coquard grew up watching his father and grandfather making wine, so for him to lead the family tradition forward comes as no surprise. A goal is a new vision for Beaujolais; a blend of tradition and modernity, producing wines that your taste buds dream about at night!
