An expert's opinion

The wine may seem complex with its blend of grenache, mourvèdre, syrah, cinsault, counoise, terret noir, vaccarèse and muscardin, but this is also the alchemy of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Grenache nevertheless dominates this cuvee and offers a silky, tender and fruity wine. The other grapes bring the spicy and fresh side. Result: a robust and fine wine at a time.
