An expert's opinion

Sometimes a wine is simply so exceptional, we have to make it available. A sweet wine with a wonderful freshness that makes it possible to pair this with both savoury and sweet foods. Elegant, fine, rich, fragrant, thirst-quenching... it has it all. Made from one of the worlds great white grapes, Chenin Blanc, this wine will leave no-one indifferent. We've worked with this estate before with their red wines, so we're delighted to be able to present their flagship cuvée!

Jean-Michel Deluc. Head Sommelier of Petit Ballon.
The estate

Domaine Sauveroy

The estate has a great history! Legend has it that Sauveroy is named after a King who was saved during the war of Vendée. For the record, the estate is managed by Véronique and Pascal who were recently joined by Quentin who, at just 25 years old, is already an integral part of the team. Located in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay, a village nestling in the heart of the Loire Valley, their vines are grown with the utmost respect for the environment. Simplicity, know-how and passion are at the heart of Sauveroy's work!
