An expert's opinion

I simply had to share it

Here's a nice surprise I'd like to share with you; an extraordinary Margaux, and whilst not a classified growth it is certainly at the same level. A wine that has class, elegance and complexity. We know that Margaux is widely considered to be the most delicate of the appellations on the left bank of Bordeaux, with here we have something so delicately nuanced and most of it is down to Merlot. From a wonderful vintage the grapes are harvested, vinified and then aged in new oak barrels for 15-18 months before bottle. This château was previously unknown to me but after scoring this wine almost perfectly, . A beautiful, wonderful wine from Domaine Fabre!.
