An expert's opinion

It is anything but 'petit' in actual fact. The terroir of this appellation gives us wines that are light and airy but not without minerality. This ""5 Arches"" vintage corresponds to what I expect from Chablis wines: A lively, pure and refreshing Chardonnay. A wine to drink in it's youth. Benjamin Laroche's does all that, adding elegance and salinity.

Jean-Michel Deluc. Head Sommelier of Petit Ballon.

  • Mouth Suave and fruity in the attack. The wine becomes acidic, mineral and saline at the finish. Very elegant.
