An expert's opinion

Talking about delicacy and subtlety with regards to the normally powerful wines of Madiran may seem odd, but Alain Brumont has managed to tame the beast! With vineyards facing towards Montus and by taking particular care in the winery, his Madiran and Cabernet Franc blends really are finely grained and delicate, with remarkably refreshing acidity. A welcome change!

The estate

Vignobles Brumont

Behind every great estate lies a great winemaker, and Alain Brumont is certainly the key to unlocking the secrets of his vineyards. He's been voted both the best winemaker in France, and with good reason! His focus is on quality and taste above all else, and the evidence is there to taste in your glass. With a CV as accomplished as his, we're expecting a surprise everytime we open one of his bottles!
