An expert's opinion

Primitivo is one of my favorite Italian, and indeed, Mediterranean grape varieties. When it's treated with care and respect, it can produce some of Italy's most remarkable wines. The Coppi family are one of the best producers of Primitivo, and their wine 'Cantanova' is a great introduction to the variety. Velvety, soft and quite bold! Organically produced and ready for your glass. Bottoms up!

The estate

Vini Coppi

Lisia, Miriam and Doni, siblings of the Coppi family, have been in and around wine since they could walk. Their father, Antonio Coppi, is a real wine lover and has passed this passion onto them through the years, handing over the reins for them to run the estate. Unsurprisingly, new energy has brought new ideas but the rustic, Italian spirit remains unchanged and their goal is simple; to produce good, honest wine that complements Italian cooking.
