An expert's opinion

I have a particular attachment to the vineyards of Limoux, which produce amazingly fresh white wines in a relatively warm environment thanks to the cooling influence of the Mediterranean Sea. This is also the home of some of France's best sparkling wines, including the famous 'Blanquette de Limoux'. Creamy and fresh with a wonderful marriage between the native Mauzac grape, the zest of Chenin Blanc and the elegance of Chardonnay. Delicious!

The estate

Antech Limoux

Limoux is a 6th generation, family-ran business. Today, the 6th generation is at the helm, with Francoise, Georges and Roger taking care of the day-to-day management of the estate. Their vineyards are managed using sustainable, integrated viticulture, their 4 grapes are harvested manually and the wines are produced in the most traditional ways possible; either The Traditional Method, or via the ancient Methode Ancestrale. 6 generations of know-how!
