Wine : White Wines

There are many different types of white wines depending on the region. Within French white wines, the best known are often those of Burgundy or the great wines of Alsace. For original white wines, Jura is the place to be. Bordeaux, Languedoc-Roussillon, Rhone Valley, and Sud-Ouest, all have their own particularities. Chardonnay and Sauvignon are among the most famous white grape varieties in France and worldwide. White wines can be dry, sweet, or sparkling (Champagne, Vinho Verde, Blanquette, Crémant, Cava, Prosecco ...).
